ASLIA is very excited to have Professor Bencie Woll, from University College London (UCL) as our Keynote.

Professor Woll is a Director of the Deafness Cognition and Language Research Centre and the Chair of Sign Language and Deaf Studies at UCL. Professor Woll was one of the first researchers to publish work on linguistic aspects of British Sign Language, and has a special interest in how the brain processes language in a visual modality
